The Refractionist Training Program is delivered by IndieEyes Vision Academy, a training division of IndieEyes Online Services (OPC) Private Limited, in academic collaboration with Grow My India. Certificates at month 7 are issued jointly in both names. This is vocational training — not a licence to practise independently.
Mode
Two sections only. Same ₹11,999. The internship that follows is three months unpaid, then three months paid, at Behala in both sections.
Behala campus
The 1-month course and the six-month internship are at 22/1, Brojomani Debya Road. Theory, instruments and supervised patients in the same working optical practice.
Live theory + campus internship
The 1-month course is live online. The internship is not. Unpaid and paid internship months are on the Behala floor — instruments and patients are not taught through a screen.
Structure
Month 1 is the course. Months 2–4 are an unpaid internship. Months 5–7 are a paid internship. The wage is set with the host practice. It is not part of the course fee, and it is not a job offer.
Month 1 · Course
One month of teaching: the sciences, the vocabulary, and the first supervised procedures. This is the month the fee covers.
Offline: Classroom at Behala. Online: Live lecture.
Months 2–4 · Unpaid
Three months on the floor after the course. No wage. Supervised laboratory and store practice. This is training, not employment.
Offline: Internship at Behala. Online: Campus internship block.
Months 5–7 · Paid
Three further months, now paid. The wage is set with the host practice and is not part of the course fee. Patient work stays supervised. This is not a job offer.
Offline: Paid internship at Behala. Online: Campus internship block.
Fee
₹11,999
Inclusive of GST 18%. One payment, for the course month only.
₹11,999 inclusive of GST, one payment. Then a six-month internship: three months unpaid, three months paid. Entry: 10+2, age 18.
